Who We Are
Once upon a time, Vera "Beep" Klister had a dream to offer people her best breads and other homemade goods. She opened "Beep's Back Door Oven" and began selling bakery at local farmer markets. In the summer of 2004, Beep and her husband Dave purchased the historic property at 313 Dodge Street which has a record as a rooming house and most recently as a private residence.Read More
Behind the Scenes
Dave Klister, Owner. Dave's personal construction business, Klister Karpentry led the extensive remodeling project during which 53 tons of debris were taken to the landfill and 16,000 brick were removed, cleaned, and later placed on the original building and the additions.
Dona Nie, Manager. Dona, is a native of Michigan and has years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently from Ridgeway Country Club in Neenah where she was the Food, Beverage and Banquet Manager. Prior to that Dona was the Manager at Antler’s Sport Bar and Grill, in Winchester. So come in and let her treat you to that hometown hospitality.
Mary Pahl, Baking Master. Everything Mary touches is the most delicious food you've experienced. With Mary's touch, her gluten-free products have satisfied even the most critical critics.
